About

Education Access for All has been founded to deliver educational services in rural areas of India through a for-profit and sustainable model. Currently, we have undertaken two initiatives: Newton Management Company and e-Tutor.

Through Newton Management Company (NMC), our goal is to create a chain of private schools in small towns (population between 200K – 500K) bringing global best practices and innovation to these areas and using a cross subsidy model to serve poor children who make up to 20% of the enrolled children. We act as a school operator replicating an innovative curriculum and school architecture fostering participative learning with a focus on life skills. Primarily, NMC seeks to work with existing private schools for a management fee; however, when NMC is not able to find existing private schools, it will partner with local owner to build new schools. Currently, we have one school operating in Beawar, Rajasthan (www.mangalnewton.com) and have partners for one school each in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

While we believe that the school is the center of a child’s learning experience, we recognize the need to quickly scale to bring innovative best practices to children across India; thus, we have built an e-learning company, Cell Technologies, with the goal of translating innovation in CBSE and ICSE curriculum and innovative pedagogy into a low-cost e-learning product that can be used in and outside the classroom. Distributed via CDs, DVDs, and the internet, “e-Tutor” has been designed to cater to schools, parents, and children in small towns. Similar to Newton Schools, our goal is to use a cross subsidy model to use the revenue from higher-end schools to serve under-privileged communities at a very low cost.
